It is a pleasure to extend greetings and best wishes on behalf of the people of the City and County of San Francisco to the Cebu Association of California on the occasion of the Sixth Annual Fiesta of Santo Nino de Cebu on January 19, 1974. We also send felicitations and congratulations to the Queen of Cebu, who will receive her traditional crown as part of the festivities. San Francisco salutes its Filipino-American Community for the many contributions it has made to the culture and atmosphere of our City. The Cebu Association and its founder Sally Famarin have played an important part in fostering the spirit of respect and understanding which exists between the peoples of the Philippine Islands and the United States. May it continue to flourish. Through your fine organization we send our most cordial greetings to the Governor of the Province of Cebu and to the Mayor of Cebu City on this gala festival occasion. Joseph
