Each year for the past several years, it has been the honor and privilege of St. Dominic's to host the Santo Nino de Cebu Fiesta. In addition, every month, on the second Saturday of the month, parishioners and devotees of the Santo Nino gather after the 5:30 p.m. Mass for sprayers and worship of the Blessed Sacrament. This devotion and prayer is meant to draw each of us ever closer to Jesus Christ, and to immerse us in the mystery of His Holy Incarnation. The Son of God, the eternal and omnipotent, willingly comes to us as a helpless child, a child in need of our love and our attention. He does this for our redemption, certainly, but He also comes to us in this manner to remind us of the care and concern we should have for those weakest among us: for the poor, the homeless, the defenseless, the weak. Devotees of the Santo Nino have shown themselves time and time again willing to take this message to heart, and build the Kingdom of God here on earth through their selfless and generous acts. May God continue to bless you through the Holy Christ Child, and enliven your heart with the charity and joy He brings.

32nd Annual Fiesta
Message
In a world that is often darkened by doubt, and scarred by selfishness and violence, there are pockets of light and hope. One such beacon is the devotees of the Santo Nino. Children draw out from us our best and most human aspects. A child's innocence and goodness, fragility and playfulness teach us to be more fully human. The Holy Child does the same and more. He enlarges our vision to include all that is sacred and is a source of help and comfort.
It is no accident that the Filipino people are a blessing to these United States. From those distant islands, they have brought faith, familial spirit and joy. These gifts are a rich treasure. My prayer for you during this festive time is that you will pledge yourselves anew to the Santo Nino and that you may continue to be such a special blessing to us.
